DUI suspect charged for fatal March crash that killed 3 in Gwinnett County
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - The driver believed to be responsible for a fatal crash that killed three people and injured one in March in Gwinnett County is facing multiple charges.
What we know:
Domingo Lopez Raymundo has been charged with three felony counts of homicide by vehicle in the first degree; three counts of hit-and-run resulting in serious injury or death; driving under the influence; driving without a driver’s license; reckless driving; speeding; willful obstruction of law enforcement; and driving without a seatbelt.

The crash happened just after midnight near Williams Road and Bishop Circle in Norcross on March 2.
According to the motor vehicle crash report, the victims' vehicle was stopped at a stop sign on Bishops Circle, waiting to turn left onto Williams Road. As it began making the turn, it was struck by the suspect's vehicle.
Three people were pronounced dead at the scene. A fourth person was transported to Northside Hospital Gwinnett with minor injuries. The deceased victims were identified as 41-year-old Federico Ramirez Chun of Norcross, an 18-year-old female, and a 52-year-old female. The driver’s wife was the only survivor.
The suspect and his passenger, who sustained minor injuries, fled the scene on foot before first responders arrived.
Police located the suspect shortly after the crash. The passenger was also found a short time later by a K-9 unit in nearby woods. The suspect, who complained of a leg injury, was transported to a hospital. His passenger, who was bitten by the K-9, was also taken to a hospital.
Both individuals were arrested and transported to the Gwinnett County Jail after being medically cleared.

At this time, it is unknown when the suspect will appear in court.
